  • TWO UNIQUE VESSELS WITHIN THE MCP POOL

    MCP Paphos and MCP Pachna are two very unique ships. The two vessels are part of the successful MCP Pool, a commercial pool of same-type feeder vessels consisting of 27 exact sister ships, that was founded in Cyprus in July 2005 by a small number of shipowners who decided to invest in a series of these 630 TEU feeder vessels. read more more

    Wednesday, 6th of January saw the christening of SEABOARD PACIFIC and SEABOARD CHILE, the third and fourth vessels in a serie of six 25000 dwt MPC's. The weather wasn't working in our favour with snowstorms and delays at the Chinese airports, but on the day it cleared up and although cold and snowy the ceremonies were a complete success! read more more

  • Supramax-Bulkcarrier MV "HUSUM" in business

    Hartmann Shipping completes its building-series LEER/ZHEJIANG. On the 21st of December 2009 the Hartmann Shipping Company, settled in Leer, took over the Supramax – Bulkcarrier MV "HUSUM" from the Zheijang Shipyard, Ningbo, China.   • Exercise with LPG/P "DANUBEGAS"

    Teams of the "Havariekommando" (German Central Command of Maritime Emergencies), Hartmann Reederei and Dow Chemical Company practised a towage exercise on board the LPG-carrier LPG/P "DANUBEGAS" for the case of an emergency. The "Havariekommando" used its multipurpose towage vessel, GS "Neuwerk", to tow the LPG/P "DANUBEGAS", which for the duration of the exercise pretended to be unable to manoeuvre. more
