The shipping companies of the Hartmann Group handle the entire management of the fleet. The scope of fleet management ranges from the development of ship designs and the monitoring of new buildings to investment and financing, nautical/technical, cost-effective ship management and sales processing.
Each of our shipping companies specialises in a specific core business segment. They focus on explicit main issues in the configuration of their fleets.
The Hartmann Reederei in Leer specialises in gastankers. The company is the world leader in the ethylene tanker segment. The rest of the company’s fleet is comprised of container ships and bulk carriers.
Intership Navigation, Limassol, manages a fleet of Handysize bulkers, the largest of which can handle 53,000 tdw. Bulkers with a capacity of up to 118.000 tdw add to the portfolio. The company opened up a new business segment in 2009 with a unique fleet of modern, self-unloading cement carriers.
Feederlines of Groningen predominantly operates multi-purpose carriers of 4,000 to 9,000 tdw – the ships are mainly used in European waters.
Hartmann Offshore of Leer manages a fleet of ultra-modern anchor handling tugs, which are used worldwide for the provisioning, towage and positioning of drilling platforms.
The Hartmann Reederei and Feederlines also offer the planning and realisation of closed shipping funds and carry out fund management for the stockholders.
