Hartmann AG: Ship Management
The Companies of the Hartmann Group cover the whole technical-nautical and commercial management of ocean-going vessels. This begins with the development of ship design and project management and goes on to cover the handling of investment and financing, technical and economic supervision, right up to dealing with sales. Hartmann Reederei and Feederlines are responsible for the conception and realisation of closed shipping funds as a public or private placement model for a large number of private investors, as well as providing information services to shareholders.
The various shipping companies concentrate on specific types of vessels. The principal core business of Hartmann Reederei is gas tankers. Their design and technical conception are developed in the shipping company and brought to perfection on an ongoing basis in close cooperation with engineering offices. Also of considerable importance are container ships and bulk carriers. Since 2008 two Suezmax oil tankers and Supramax bulk carriers have joined the fleet. The second German shipping company, Hartmann Offshore, focuses on the offshore sector. While Intership in Cyprus concentrates on Handysize bulk carriers ans large multi-purpose vessels, Feederlines in the Netherlands is mainly involved with multi-purpose cargo-ships operating in European waters.
