Protection of personal data
The operator of the website, Hartmann AG, attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and complies with German data protection legislation. Our website can generally be used without providing any personal data. If any personal data is collected on our website, however, (such as name and e-mail address when registering for our Newsletter), it is done on a voluntary basis and this data will not be disclosed to third parties. We hereby point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. in the case of communication via e-mail) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against unauthorised access by third parties is therefore not possible.
Storage of usage data
Access data is stored in a log file on our server when you access a page of our website and/or request a file. Each data record consists of:
– the IP address
– the date and time of your request
– the name of the requested file
– the status code
– the amount of data transmitted
– the requested domain
– a description of the type of browser used (browser version and operating system)
This data is collected for purely statistical purposes – it is not forwarded to any third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. Where personal or business data can be entered on the Internet site, your disclosure of this data takes place on a voluntary basis. Your data is also treated as confidential in this case and will not be disclosed to third parties. Likewise, no linking to the above-mentioned access data takes place.
You can refuse the use of Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set on the computer, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website:

Further information concerning the terms and conditions of use and data privacy can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/en_uk/policies/. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics code is supplemented by “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking).
The 'Hartmann Newsletter' provides readers with information about the Hartmann Group three times a year. Registration for the 'Hartmann Newsletter' is voluntary. If you wish to receive the Newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and other data that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address, or that the owner of the e-mail address agrees to receiving the Newsletter. This data will only be used to send the Newsletter and will not be disclosed to third parties. When you register for the Newsletter, we store your IP address and the date of registration. This data will only be used as evidence if a third party misuses an e-mail address and logs in to receive the Newsletter without the knowledge of the rightful address owner. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and the e-mail address, and their use for the transmission of the Newsletter at any time. To do this, please use the cancellation form on the website at NEWS -> Newsletter -> Unsubscription from our Newsletter, via a link in each Newsletter or by sending notification to the contact(s) specified in the imprint.
This website is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any claim or dispute between you and the Hartmann AG arising in whole or in part by the use of this website is subject to German law. If any section or wording of this text only partially or no longer complies – or does not completely comply – with valid legal requirements, the content and validity of the remaining sections of the document remain unaffected.
The content of our website pages was created with great care. However, we can assume no liability for the correctness, completeness and topicality of the content. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law, as per § 7, Par. 1 of the TMG (German Telemedia Law). According to Paras. §§ 8 to 10 of the TMG, we as a service provider are neither obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information nor to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations under general law to remove or block the use of information remain unaffected. Any liability in this respect, however, can only be incurred from the moment that we become aware of a specific violation of the law. Upon notification of such violations, we shall immediately remove the content in question.
Our site contains links to external websites over which we have no control. The provider or operator of the linked sites is always responsible for their content, therefore we cannot assume any responsibility for such third-party content. The linked sites were checked for possible legal violations at the time they were linked to our website. Illegal content was not apparent at the time the link(s) were created. Any form of permanent control of the linked pages is legally unreasonable without concrete evidence of a violation; if we are notified of any such violation, however, we shall immediately remove the links in question.

If the content on this website was not created by the site operator, the copyrights of third parties will be complied with. Third-party content in particular is marked as such. If you become aware of a copyright infringement, however, please let us know. When we are notified of any legal violations, we will immediately remove the content in question.
Third parties are hereby prohibited from using our contact data (published within the context of the obligation to provide legal and editorial details) to send advertising and information materials that have not been expressly requested by the recipient. We reserve the right to take legal action if the unsolicited sending of advertising information occurs.
